Her brand, Nishika Pawa Design Studio ( now The Soiree Edit) was a small startup established in 1998, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit of someone who saw a void in the market of good, detail-oriented event designers. The highlight of the brunch was the bridal fashion show enjoyed by the guests while partaking in amazing Hyderabadi and Middle East cuisine.

She began her career with creative customised gift wrapping and trousseau packaging, and slowly grew her brand to include large scale event design and management. She has, over the span of her career carried out events from as small as 20 people intimate parties to 1000+ people weddings.
