“Sometimes the universe has a plan,” says the bride Priyanka

The beautiful wedding story of Priyanka and Varun who got married in November, 2019 at a ravishing palace in Udaipur.

“When it comes to the age-old relationship adage “Opposites attract,” jury’s still out. We met when we were 16, you know how it is in the first few months of college and you think you found your soul mate, but what immediately had them click was the fact that they were complete opposites . You know the type when he’s a loud jock and she’s a quiet bookworm, or he’s a geeky homebody and she’s a social butterfly, yet they’ve been staring heart-eyed at each other for 12 years and onto infinity. What makes us a great couple is that one’s weakness is the other’s strength. We balance each other out, so it’s a win-win for us. Despite our differences, we get to discover more because we’re both open to trying out new things when adjusting to the other. Our differences make us grow both as individuals and as a couple. We coupled up in my first year of high school. We’ve done it all from holding hands and going to the movies to bunking classes. It wasn’t long before the friendship turned into love overtime & finally their unconditional love for each other was made official.”

My sweet moments

Some of my favourite and sweet moments from the weddings were- the emotional but goofy time my mom and I spent during hair and makeup. The most important and beautiful part of my wedding experience was – The father daughter dance. The moment I’d cherish forever is when you see both your mother and mother in law wearing semi matching outfits. The mehendi decor was not only fun, but refreshingly accurate.

My advice to all those getting married

Just let go and enjoy each function. You’ll never get to relive these moments. Delegate any responsibility to siblings or bffs this is the time to make them work!

Take all necessary police permissions in advance. I would suggest getting a planner in the city that you live in rather than the city of the wedding. It’s easier to coordinate and plan.
